This is Acholi country where Sudanese refugees were re-settling after extended stays in Ugandan camps. These returnees faced a serious food gap. They were given 2-3 months of food stocks from NGOs, but their harvests would not come in before supplies run out. The people said it was good to be home, but they feared starvation.
