Dinka cattle camp

The journey ended with a visit to a Dinka cattle camp. It is a sign of re-emerging Dinka wealth and stability that one sees a herd at all. During the war, the North slaughtered the cattle to demoralize the people and eliminate their source of sustenance. Many herders separated their stock into small groups to minimize the risk of loss.
